Functionality of the Translator

PLM provides an easy-to-use translation feature to help users translate information such as descriptions and actors of movies/videos. It works by accessing well-known translation interfaces on the internet, such as Google/Baidu/DeepL, for text translation. It requires configuring API Key and other information for the interface to function properly.

Limitations of the Translator

The translator must be connected to the internet to function. Access to certain translators may be restricted in some regions, requiring the use of a VPN.

Supported Translator List and How to Configure Them

Click the "Tools" menu, then click the "Translator" submenu to enter the translator interface. Select a "Vendor" and click the "Config" button to configure it. The parameters that need to be filled in vary depending on the provider.

  1. Google Translator: Fill in the API Key and select the "To language".
  2. Microsoft Translator: Fill in the API Key, Endpoint URL, Region, and select the "To language".
  3. DeepL Translator: Fill in the API Key, Endpoint URL, and select the "To language".
  4. Baidu Translator: Fill in the AppID, API Key, Endpoint URL, and select the "To language".
