qBittorrent (or qBT for short) is an open-source torrent client, supporting multiple languages and platforms, and completely free.
qBT supports a WebUI feature, which allows users to remotely control qBT by activating it. This means you can remotely control your qBT (whether it's running locally, on a LAN, or on a remote server) through a specific URL.
By configuring PLM's "Downloader Management URL", users can click the "Downloader Page" (button/menu within the browser) in PLM to access this URL.
By configuring PLM's "On run torrent" to the full path of qBittorrent.exe and setting "Run torrent mode" to "2", you can enable PLM to automatically run your local qBT after downloading a torrent file.
By configuring PLM's ".torrent target path" to a network mapped drive, PLM can save the .torrent file to this folder when downloading, making it easier for other machines on the LAN to download using other downloaders.
