PLM Support for Ebooks

Given the complexity of ebooks, PLM offers limited support, and the reading experience may not be ideal.

How to Manage Ebooks

The methods and steps for managing ebooks are generally consistent with those for managing photos, with the following differences:

1. When importing using "Choose File," select the scan type as "Document" or "Doc Folder".
2. When "Editing" file properties, PLM will first display its sub-file list. At this time, you can add/delete/view/play sub-files. Users can click the "Properties" button to modify the properties of the root file.
3. During playback, PLM will open a built-in browser and use open-source components for reading.

Reading Ebooks

Because PLM's ebook reading support is limited, you can set "External DOCX player"/"External PDF player"/"External EBook player" etc. in Settings to configure external software for opening ebooks.
